Marriage and Family

He married and had two daughters, Iris and Marie Brossard, with his first wife. The couple divorced.

Brossard later married Maria Huffman. In the 1980s they had a daughter Genève Brossard. He and Maria divorced.

He died of cancer in New York in August 1993. Brossard's papers are held by Syracuse University.
