Burning Man Controversy
In 2011, Krug, with the Silkstone events agency, shot a marketing campaign at the Burning Man festival in Nevada. Festival-goers were told they were attending a birthday party, but were filmed and photographed as part of this campaign. Members of the Burning Man community denounced the campaign and Krug in various social media.
