Certified Association Executive

Certified Association Executive (CAE) is a professional certification for association executives. Two separate and unconnected certifications with this name are offered - a U.S. certification sponsored by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and a Canadian certification sponsored by Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE). Association management professionals must meet certain educational and experience requirements and pass an examination before either designation is awarded.

Famous quotes containing the words certified, association and/or executive:

Faith means belief in something concerning which doubt is still theoretically possible; and as the test of belief is willingness to act, one may say that faith is the readiness to act in a cause the prosperous issue of which is not certified to us in advance.
    William James (1842–1910)

A good marriage ... is a sweet association in life: full of constancy, trust, and an infinite number of useful and solid services and mutual obligations.
    Michel de Montaigne (1533–1592)

... the wife of an executive would be a better wife had she been a secretary first. As a secretary, you learn to adjust to the boss’s moods. Many marriages would be happier if the wife would do that.
Anne Bogan, U.S. executive secretary. As quoted in Working, book 1, by Studs Terkel (1973)
