Making A Market in Coins
Since its inception in late 2007, CAC has processed more than 350,000 coin submissions with a declared insurance value totaling more than $1.75 billion. It also has purchased more than $250 million worth of coins, according to data on its website.
In 2011, CAC and a group of coin dealers founded Coinplex, an online coin trading platform for professional dealers, in order to broaden the trading market for CAC-approved coins. Dealers are also able to make markets in non-CAC-verified certified coins. As of 2012, Coinplex has 156 member dealers posting more than 56,000 bids, valued at $538 million.

Famous quotes containing the words making a, making, market and/or coins:
“I work all day, and get half-drunk at night.
Waking at four to soundless dark, I stare.
In time the curtain-edges will grow light.
Till then I see whats really always there:
Unresting death, a whole day nearer now,
Making all thought impossible but how
And where and when I shall myself die.”
—Philip Larkin (19221986)
“I am making a collection of the things my opponents have found me to be and, when this election is over, I am going to open a museum and put them on display.”
—Lyndon Baines Johnson (19081973)
“Writing ought either to be the manufacture of stories for which there is a market demanda business as safe and commendable as making soap or breakfast foodsor it should be an art, which is always a search for something for which there is no market demand, something new and untried, where the values are intrinsic and have nothing to do with standardized values.”
—Willa Cather (18761947)
“A war undertaken without sufficient monies has but a wisp of force. Coins are the very sinews of battles.”
—François Rabelais (14941553)
