Athletics
The mascot of Cerritos is the Falcon. Its teams compete in the South Coast Conference of the California Community College Athletic Association. Men's sports titles have included 11 in basketball and baseball, seven in wrestling, six in tennis, two in soccer, and one each in water polo, swimming, and diving. Women's titles include eight each in volleyball and basketball, four in tennis, three in softball, and two each in cross country and track and field. Wally Kincaid, who coached the baseball team from 1958 through 1980, is a member of the National College Baseball Hall of Fame.
