  • After relocating to a base in Harlow in 2007, Trustybus decided to compete with Arriva with local routes. They set up routes 22 and 33 (in competition with Arriva routes 2 and 3) which operated in a circular from Staple Tye (a Harlow suburb) to Harlow Town Centre and Harlow Town Station. It operated with cheaper fares than Arriva services and with a higher frequency. Despite this, the circular routes only lasted until early 2009.
  • Quite a way from where they were based, Trustybus operated Essex County Council contract route 10 (Loughton to Abridge) which was taken over from Imperial Buses. The route lasted until April 2007, where another contract route, Route 541 (Loughton to Epping via Abridge and Theydon Bois) took over.
  • Trustybus also operated Essex County Council contract route 392 (Harlow to Hoddesdon) for five years, before Stansted Transit took over.
  • They have also operated the 500 (Sunday) and 347 contracts in the past.
  • For five years, Herts CC contract route 700 was operated by Trustybus/Centrebus (Stansted Airport to Stevenage). Uno took over the contract in 2011.
  • In 2011, Centrebus took over Herts CC contract 324 from Golden Boy Coaches. On 23 May 2011, Centrebus replaced the 324 with a commercial route C3.

Famous quotes containing the word routes:

The myth of independence from the mother is abandoned in mid- life as women learn new routes around the mother—both the mother without and the mother within. A mid-life daughter may reengage with a mother or put new controls on care and set limits to love. But whatever she does, her child’s history is never finished.
    Terri Apter (20th century)
