The Mactan-Cebu International Airport on Mactan Island serves the general area of Cebu City and its surrounding area.
The Cebu International Port is the largest shipping hub in the Visayas. Notable business districts are the Cebu Business Park and the Asiatown IT Park, built on what was once the location of the Lahug Airport (Cebu's old airport prior to Mactan-Cebu International Airport). This area hosts industries related to the information technology industry such as software development, telecommunications, engineering research and development centers, and business process outsourcing.
