Most people remark after friending her on Face Book about how funny she is. Yes. She is definitely that. You need only read her Face Book biography once, or to friend her, to know that she is honest and without reserve. She tells secrets you may not know about her life without regard for how you may think of her afterwards, and the trials of touring for the past thirty plus years all over the world. Some that may surprise you, but all with her easy going candor. She is an actress and story teller, and as in her one woman shows, she can tell a tale better than most, with surprises around every corner, with loads of laughs and touches of pathos, and all in just the right places. She is naked as a performer, in the very best sense, and while her career has not been anything like a straight line to the top, she is not encumbered with the bitterness many have acquired while navigating a rocky climb with all of the ups and downs of a life in show business, one cannot avoid them, if this is the path you choose. And she has chosen well as she is a natural and talented singer and like the best of them she makes it all look so easy. "It's so difficult to be noticed these days for being a singer/story teller and showbiz maven, when everyone and anyone seem to be having their 30 minutes of TV fame, revealing their "realities" to the world, as entertainment." And yet, I am fascinated by Honey Boo Boo too! LOL" Being a small town girl at heart and in reality too, from Escanaba Michigan specifically, she says YUP a lot, and JEEPERS too. At the drop of a hat she can do her accent from way up there and sound like someone from the movie FARGO. "It's a gift, she says, with a twinkle in her eye, it's my people, and the kooky way we speak, it even cracks me up!" If you ask her, she'd say without blinking an eye, "Given a choice, I'd love to be singing for you. Right now, more than anything in the world. Being onstage is where I am most myself, it's my joy and my greatest gift from God." And when she leaves that stage, the stage misses her. That's Catte Adams.

Famous quotes containing the word adams:

Thank God, I never was cheerful. I come from the happy stock of the Mathers, who, as you remember, passed sweet mornings reflecting on the goodness of God and the damnation of infants.
