The Carolina Renaissance Festival is a Renaissance Fair held annually in October and November in the town of Huntersville, North Carolina. Its setting is the fictional village of "Fairhaven" and is one of the largest Renaissance festivals in the country. The faire brings in an average of 160,000 visitors during its fall season. The Carolina Renaissance Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary season on Saturdays and Sundays from October 5 through November 24, 2013.
