Patrol Areas
There are five main patrol areas of the Canadian Rangers. Those are the Canadian Forces Northern Area (CFNA), Land Force Quebec Area (LFQA), Land Force Central Area (LFCA), Land Force Western Area (LFWA) and the Land Force Atlantic Area (LFAA). Each patrol area is directly controlled by the headquarters unit of a Canadian Ranger Patrol Group or CRPG (in French, Groupe de Patrouilles des Rangers Canadiens or GPRC).

Famous quotes containing the word areas:
“The ambiguous, gray areas of authority and responsibility between parents and teachers exacerbate the distrust between them. The distrust is further complicated by the fact that it is rarely articulated, but usually remains smoldering and silent.”
—Sara Lawrence Lightfoot (20th century)
