Park Law Enforcement
Law enforcement in Bridgeport's parks is handled by the Bridgeport Park Police Department, a separate department devoted to law enforcement in Bridgeport's parks. This organization has been disbanded in 2009 and the Bridgeport city police has now assumed law enforcement duties within all city parks.
