Services
There is a daily hourly Northern Rail service northbound to Stockport and Manchester Piccadilly and southbound to Stoke-on-Trent with additional services at peak times. The last two trains each day terminate at Macclesfield.
The Sunday service from the station is limited, with just five trains each way.
CrossCountry and Virgin Trains southbound services to Birmingham New Street and London Euston and northbound services to Manchester Piccadilly run through the station but don't stop.
