Boys Love, the Movie (Japanese: BOYS LOVE 劇場版) also known as Boys Love gekijouban, released in 2007, was created in response to the commercial success of 2006's Boys Love. Also directed by Kōtarō Terauchi and starring Yoshikazu Kotani. However the remaining cast for this second film is all new. The slightly-different characters in the new film are defined better. The main differences in plot involve the actions of the roommate with glasses, the cause and aftermath of a rape, and of course the ending. The DVD for Boys Love, the Movie was released in 2009 under the title Schoolboy Crush.
