Academics
It is already reputed amongst the universities in Nigeria as one of very high moral and academic standards.
The University has three faculties in which 22 accredited courses are offered including
- Industrial Chemistry, Plant Biology, Mathematics and Statistics, Computer Science and Information Technology, Biochemistry in the Faculty of Science and Science Education;
- Plant Science, Animal Science, Agricultural Extension in the Faculty of Agriculture; and
- the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences, the university's largest, includes Human Communications, Banking and Finance, and Economics.
