Boulder High School - History

History

Boulder High School was founded in 1875 as part of the University of Colorado at Boulder as a preparatory school for the university. It was the first high school in Colorado, hence its slogan, "Still the First." The school is located in downtown Boulder, adjacent to the university’s campus and four blocks from the Pearl Street Mall.
