Bottle Island

Bottle Island (Scottish Gaelic: Eilean a' Bhotail) is one of the Summer Isles in Loch Broom, Scotland. So called because of its shape, an alternative name is Eilean Druim Briste, "broken ridge island".

Famous quotes containing the words bottle and/or island:

Name me, if you can, a better feeling than the one you get when you’ve half a bottle of Chivas in the bag with a gram of coke up your nose and a teenage lovely pulling off her tube top in the next seat over while you’re doing a hundred miles an hour in a suburban side street.
    —P.J. (Patrick Jake)

If a man be gracious and courteous to strangers, it shows he is a citizen of the world, and that his heart is no island cut off from others lands, but a continent that joins to them.
    Francis Bacon (1561–1626)
