Blended Learning

Blended learning is education that combines face-to-face classroom methods with computer-mediated activities. According to its proponents, the strategy creates a more integrated approach for both instructors and students.

There is no consensus on a definition of blended learning. The terms "blended," "hybrid," and "mixed-mode" are used interchangeably in current research literature.

Famous quotes containing the word learning:

    A little learning is a dang’rous thing;
    Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring:
    There shallow draughts intoxicate the brain,
    And drinking largely sobers us again.
    Alexander Pope (1688–1744)
