Black Jackets Company - BJCo.

BJCo.

Black Jackets Company (1995-)
After organising some meetings on musical composition in Brussels since 1995, young composers less than 30-year old, Pierre Kolp (Belgium), Juan Carlos Tolosa (Argentina), and Francis Ubertelli (Canada), later with participation of David Nuñez (Venezuela), founds Black Jackets Company (BJCo) . The name comes from two facts: first, usually, classical musicians always play with Black Jackets (and by opposition pop musicians, don't) and second, the initials Co- can have many meanings (Corporation, Company, Collective, Collections, Copyright, Composers, …). The BJCo- concept implies to open musical acts to all creative domains, that is the Company. Mixing cinema (Giovanni Cioni), danse (Barbara Manzetti, Marian del Valle, Olga De Soto), theatre (Sofie Kokaj), scenography Colin Legras, Thibaut Vancraenenbroeck and, of course, the collective, BJCo- cools Contemporary Arts Atmosphere on Brussels area.
