Bi Community News

Bi Community News (commonly shortened to 'BCN') is the United Kingdom's only magazine serving the bisexual population. It is published bimonthly and includes many articles reflecting bisexual life and media representation as well as news from the bisexual community.

Resulting from a workshop at the UK BiCon in 1995, it started as a zine and has been consistently published since October 1995. The current editor is Jen Yockney.

Previous UK bisexual journals were BiFrost (1991–1995) and Bi Monthly in the 1980s.

Famous quotes containing the word community:

As blacks, we need not be afraid that encouraging moral development, a conscience and guilt will prevent social action. Black children without the ability to feel a normal amount of guilt will victimize their parents, relatives and community first. They are unlikely to be involved in social action to improve the black community. Their self-centered personalities will cause them to look out for themselves without concern for others, black or white.
