Barrett-Lennard Baronets, of Belhus (1801)

  • Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 1st Baronet (1761–1857)
  • Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 2nd Baronet DL JP (29 December] 1826 – 16 January 1919). Barrett-Lennard was the son of Thomas Barrett-Lennard and Mary Shedden, and was educated at Oxford. In 1857, he succeeded in his grandfather's baronetcy. He was High Sheriff of Essex in 1865 and High Sheriff of County Monaghan in 1868. He was further a Deputy Lieutenant for Essex and County Monaghan in 1900, as well as Justice of Peace for Essex. Barrett-Lennard married Emma Wood, daughter of Reverend Sir John Wood, 2nd Baronet, on 18 January 1853. They had eight children:
    • Evelyn Laura Mary Barrett-Lennard (died 1939), married Lieutenant-Colonel Frederick Ekins Blakeney Loraine, son of Sir John Loraine, 10th Baronet, on 5 June 1877;
      • Emma Ysolda Barrett-Lennard (d. 1938), married Hon. John Donohoe FitzGerald, son of Lord FitzGerald on 7 January 1881. Her descendants include Baron Powell of Bayswater, Sir Chris Powell (advertiser), and Jonathan Powell (aide);
      • Dorothy Ada Barrett-Lennard (d. 1864);
      • Anna Cristabel Barrett-Lennard (d. 1945), married Lieutenant Gerard Henry William O'Shea in 1895;
      • Barbara Joyce Frances Barrett-Lennard (d. 1963), married Alfred Hastings Warren on 12 June 1893;
