Paulus was born in Austrian capital Vienna, and resides in Hinterbrühl. Her father, Gerhard, is a computer sales manager; her mother Brigitte is a housewife; her brother, Werner, plays basketball. Paulus graduated in 1990.
The favorite films of Paulus are Pretty Woman and Some Like It Hot. She enjoys visiting Florida, because of the climate.
