Bangarupalem

Bangarupalem (Telugu: బంగారుపాళ్యం) is a small town on national highway 4 (NH4) and a mandal head quarters in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is nationally a well known producer/business center for mangoes, coconuts, milk, tomatoes and granite and is the market-yard center for four mandals in Chittoor district.

Bangarupalem is one of the major production and export centers of mangoes and pulp in India. Mangoes and pulp are exported to all over India, including Jalgoan, Pune, Nasik, Jamshedpur, and Bharampur and also other countries. Mogili, a village near the town is famous for Lord Shiva's temple.Srini Mega Food Park located at Mogili village, (8 km from Bangarupalem) is one of India's largest integrated food parks. It provides end-to-end solutions to food processing industries with backward and forward linkage. This town is also famous for contributing so many national and international level Volley ball players for India. So far three players represented India at international level and twenty players at national level. Raising star M.V.Muralikrishna(Actor) born in Madhava Nagar village, which is very nearby Bangarupalyam (2km).
