Baby Bottle

A baby bottle is a bottle with a teat (also called a nipple in the US) to drink directly from. It is typically used by infants and young children when a mother does not breastfeed, or if someone cannot (as conveniently) drink from a cup, for feeding oneself or being fed.

In particular it is used to feed infant formula, expressed breast milk or pediatric electrolyte solution.

Famous quotes containing the words baby and/or bottle:

Nothing ever prepares a couple for having a baby, especially the first one. And even baby number two or three, the surprises and challenges, the cosmic curve balls, keep on coming. We can’t believe how much children change everything—the time we rise and the time we go to bed; the way we fight and the way we get along. Even when, and if, we make love.
    Susan Lapinski (20th century)

I’ve only been in love with a beer bottle and a mirror.
    Sid Vicious (1957–1979)
