Collaboration Projects

Due to Canadian law, international architects that aren't licensed in Canada need to work with a Canadian firm in order to be approved. And because building codes vary from region to region, working with localized firms makes the design process easier.

  • Toronto Eaton Centre — worked with Architect Eberhard Zeidler 1977–1982
  • Royal Ontario Museum — with Daniel Libeskind on Michael Chin-Lee Crystal 2007–2010
  • Toronto-Dominion Centre — worked with Architect Mies van der Rohe 1967–1969
  • Brookfield Place (formerly BCE Place) — worked with Architect Santiago Calatrava 1990–1991
  • TD Canada Trust Building — with Skidmore, Owings and Merrill

Famous quotes containing the word projects:

One of the things that is most striking about the young generation is that they never talk about their own futures, there are no futures for this generation, not any of them and so naturally they never think of them. It is very striking, they do not live in the present they just live, as well as they can, and they do not plan. It is extraordinary that whole populations have no projects for a future, none at all.
    Gertrude Stein (1874–1946)
