The Australia Olympic football team, more commonly known as the Olyroos, is controlled by Football Federation Australia and represents Australia at association football in the Olympic Games. Australia qualified consecutively from the 1988 tournament in Seoul, featuring at the 1992 edition in Barcelona, 1996 in Atlanta, as hosts in Sydney in 2000, 2004 in Athens until 2008 in Beijing. The team failed to qualify for the 2012 Games in London
