Aslam had to face a lot of problems as he is one of the few actors who is of Indian origin. Even though Aslam enjoys a celebrity status in Pakistan, he has never visited the country but makes sure his films reach Pakistan. However Aslam's raw talent has made the audience go fida over him. Aslam who is considered the next big thing in Urdu Cinema refuses to do movies in any other language apart from Urdu. In spite of being offered a whopping Rs 12 lakhs for a Pastho cinema, Aslam turned down the offer for unknown reasons.
