Chronology

  • 1902: Founded as Puteoli Sport.
  • 1909: Changed name to Puteoli Sport Club.
  • 1914: Joined F.I.G.C. as Puteoli Sport Club.
  • 1913–14: Terza Categoria Campania Championship. Promoted into Promozione Campana.
  • 1914–15: Placed 1st in Promozione Campana, promoted into Prima Categoria.
  • 1915/19: Inactive because of World War 1.
  • 1919: Changed name to Unione Sportiva Puteolana.
  • 1919–20: Placed 2nd in Prima Categoria Campana, qualified into the South Italy semifinals. 3ª in the group A of the South Italy semifinals.
  • 1920–21: Placed 1st in the group A of 1.a Categoria Campana, qualified into Campania Final Group. 1ª in the Campania Final Group, but it was lated disqualified for membership drive irregularities.
  • 1921–22: Placed 1st in Prima Divisione Campana C.C.I., qualified into Lega Sud finals. They lose 0–2 the South Finals against Fortitudo Roma.
  • 1922/24: Inactive. Refounded as U.S.S. Puteolana.
  • 1924–25: Placed 1st in group A of Terza Divisione Campana, qualified to Regional finals. Campan Champion of Terza Divisione. Promoted, they were directly admitted into Prima Divisione Campana.
  • 1925–26: Placed 5th and last in Prima Divisione Campania, they were supposed to be relegated into Seconda Divisione. However they didn't enter the Seconda Divisione, inactive.
  • 1926/29: They joined ULIC Youth Leagues.
  • 1929: They rejoined FIGC, they were admitted to Seconda Divisione South.
  • 1929–30: Placed 10th in the group A of Seconda Divisione South.
  • 1930–1947: They took part to some ULIC provincial youth leagues and to several Campania Championship of Prima, Seconda and Terza Divisione.
  • 1947–48:1ª in Prima Divisione Campana, promoted to Promozione Interregionale of Lega Interregionale Sud.
  • 1948–49: Placed 11th in group M of Promozione Interregionale Sud.
  • 1949–50: Placed 7th in group M of Promozione Interregionale Sud.
  • 1950–51: Placed 3rd in girone M of Promozione Interregionale Sud.
  • 1951–52: Placed 3rd in girone M of Promozione Interregionale Sud, admitted to IV Serie.
  • 1952–53: Placed 11th in IV Serie.
  • 1953–54: Placed 10th in IV Serie.
  • 1954–55: Placed 9th in IV Serie.
  • 1955–56: Placed 18th in IV Serie, relegated to Promozione Campana.

  • 1984–85: Placed 15th in group L of Interregionale, relegated to Promozione Campana.
  • 1985–86: Placed 4th in group B of Promozione Campana.
  • 1986: The team bankrupted. Campania moves from Naples to Pozzuoli and becomes Campania-Puteolana.
  • 1986–87: Placed 6th in Serie C1.
  • 1987–88: Placed 17th in Serie C1, relegated to Serie C2.
  • 1988–89: Placed 1th in Serie C2. Promoted to Serie C1.
  • 1989–90: Placed 14th in Serie C1.
  • 1990–91: Placed 18th in Serie C1, relegated to Serie C2.
  • 1991–92: Placed 20th in Serie C2, relegated to Serie D.
  • 1992: Campania-Puteolana returns to Naples and changes name into Campania.
  • 1992–93 – Placed 17th in group H of Serie D, relegated to Eccellenza Campana.
  • 1993: Comprensorio Puteolano is founded; it buys the sport title (?) of Caloria.
  • 1993–94: Placed 2nd in group A of Eccellenza Campana, promoted to CND.
  • 1994–95: Placed 11th in group H of CND.
  • 1995–96: Placed 4th in group G of CND.
  • 1996: Becomes Pozzuoli Calcio.
  • 1996–97: Placed 8th in group G of CND.
  • 1997–98: Placed 14th in group G of CND.
  • 1996: Becomes F.C. Puteolana.
  • 1998–99: Placed 3rd in group I of CND.
  • 1999-00: Placed 1st in group G of CND, promoted to Serie C2.
  • 2000–01: Placed 4th in group C of Serie C2, admitted to play-offs, where loses in the semifinals to Catanzaro.
  • 2001–02: Placed 15th in group C of Serie C2.
  • 2002–03: Placed 18th in group C of Serie C2, relegated ti Serie D.
  • 2003–04: Placed 12th in group G of Serie D.
  • 2004–05: Placed 17th in group G of Serie D, relegated to Eccellenza Campania.
  • 2005–06: Placed 13th in group A of Eccellenza Campania.
  • 2006–07: Placed 14th in group A of Eccellenza Campana. Relegated to Promozione Campania, later readmitted to Eccellenza.
  • 2007–08: Placed 15th in group A of Eccellenza Campana. Relegated to Promozione Campania.
  • 2008-09: Refounded as A.S.D. Atletico Puteolana 2008. Relegated to Eccellenza Campania. The sports title was transferred to Real Boschese and so was excluded from all Italian football.
