Life and Career
Arindam by profession is a martial artist. He is a 4th degre black belt in Taekwondo (a Korean Martial Art) and is national referee in the same field. His father Gopal Chandra Roy is the president of the Orissa Taekwondo Association and also an international master as well as referee. Arindam started learning Taekwondo under his father during his childhood and got the black belt in 1992 at the age of 11. He got his 4th degree black belt in 2005. He has won several state level, district level and national level championships. He used to train students in Taekwondo martial art before coming into the world of cinema. He was popularly called as Rantu sir (from his nickname Rantu) by his students. He completed his schooling from SCB Medical public School Cuttack
