Appaloosa Interactive

Appaloosa Interactive (formerly Novotrade International) is a corporation, founded in 1983 in Hungary, that produced numerous console games, computer programs and TV-commercials during the 1980s and 90's. The company's headquarters are currently in Palo Alto, California, and it is the parent company and owner of two software development companies in Budapest, Hungary. Its most famous titles are probably the Ecco the Dolphin game series for Sega; they also developed the Contra games on the PlayStation and Sega Saturn for Konami. Their most recent game is Jaws Unleashed, a game based on the Jaws series of films. Current company functions are not ascertainable as the Appaloosa Corp website appears to be down as of June 5, 2008.
