Aoife

Aoife, earlier Aífe (; /ˈiːfə/EE-fə), is an Irish feminine given name. The name is probably derived from the Irish aoibh, meaning "pleasure" or "radiant", although the name has also been associated with the Gaulish goddess Esuvia. The name is sometimes Anglicised as Eva though they are different names. It is also popular in old Irish folk lore such as The Children of Lir.
