She is the author of three books: Black Tide: the Devastating Impact of the Gulf Oil Spill (Wiley, April 2011), a look at the human impact of BP's disaster in the Gulf. Explosive fuel for the raging debate on oil prices."

The Bush Agenda: Invading the World One Economy at a Time (HarperCollins 2006). "One of the crispest, most insightful books yet to expose the Bush regime," says the The Georgia Straight of Canada. "Spine tingling," writes The Ecologist Magazine'.

Juhasz is the lead author and editor of the 2010 edition of The True Cost of Chevron: An Alternative Annual Report], for which she received a 2010 Project Censored Award. She was also lead author and editor of the 2009 edition and is co-editor of the 2011 edition.

Famous quotes containing the word books:

With a few exceptions, the critics of children’s books are remarkably lenient souls.... Most of us assume there is something good in every child; the critics go from this to assume there is something good in every book written for a child. It is not a sound theory.
    Katharine S. White (1892–1977)

When I am dead, I hope it may be said:
‘His sins were scarlet, but his books were read.’
    Hilaire Belloc (1870–1953)

I alternate between reading cook books and reading diet books.
    Mason Cooley (b. 1927)
