Written and produced by Roy Wood, Angel Fingers (A Teen Ballad) was Wizzard's second UK number one single, spending a single week at the top of the chart in September 1973. Stylistically, it continued in the same Phil Spector-influenced Wall of Sound style as their earlier hit See My Baby Jive.
