Demographics
Almost 80% of the people currently residing in Anatolia are Turkish. Kurdish, with 15%, constitute a major community in southeastern Anatolia, and are the largest ethnic minority. Bosniaks, Arabs, Albanians, Hemshin, Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians, Arameans, Circassians, Georgians, Jews, Laz, Gagauz, Yezidi, Abkhazians and a number of other ethnic groups also live in Anatolia in smaller numbers.
