Alex joined Emmanuel Mallia and Associates (Malta) as a trainee in 1984 and became a member on graduation in 1986. Throughout his career, Dr. Perici Calscione acted as legal advisor to a number of leading Maltese and foreign companies and organizations. He has also assisted a number of companies and organizations in the identification of EU funds for their particular projects. Dr. Perici Calascione was appointed Commissioner of Justice by the Prime Minister of Malta in 1991. He is also a member of the legal team currently appearing for Malta before the highest court in Europe, The European Court of Justice. In 1996, Dr. Perici Calascione became a partner at Emmanuel Mallia and Associates (Malta).
