Al Muntazir Toddlers & Day Care Centre

The Toddlers wing is a happy and loving environment that provides quality care to young toddlers. The goals are to enrich a healthy foundation for a lifelong learning in children by supporting the development of the whole child through activities which promote physical, social, emotional and cognitive development in a play-based environment. Classrooms are designed to be child-centered, attractive and interesting. Learning centers are set up in the classrooms so that small groups and individual children can explore different materials related to the study of math, science, art, and language while teachers observe and interact with the children and the materials to provide opportunities to balance both shared and independent learning experiences.

Famous quotes containing the words toddlers, day, care and/or centre:

Toddlerhood resembles adolescence because of the rapidity of physical growth and because of the impulse to break loose of parental boundaries. At both ages, the struggle for independence exists hand in hand with the often hidden wish to be contained and protected while striving to move forward in the world. How parents and toddlers negotiate their differences sets the stage for their ability to remain partners during childhood and through the rebellions of the teenage years.
    Alicia F. Lieberman (20th century)

If anyone should want to know my name, I am called Leah. And I spend all my time weaving garlands of flowers with my fair hands, to please me when I stand before the mirror; my sister Rachel sits all the day long before her own, and never moves away. She loves to contemplate her lovely eyes; I love to use my hands to adorn myself: her joy is in reflection, mine in act.
    Dante Alighieri (1265–1321)

It is said, the devil takes care of his own. Much more should a good spirit—the spirit of the Constitution and the Union—take care of its own. I think it can not do less, and live.
    Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865)

To live and die amongst foreigners may seem less absurd than to live persecuted or tortured by one’s fellow countrymen.... But to emigrate is always to dismantle the centre of the world, and so to move into a lost, disoriented one of fragments.
    John Berger (b. 1926)
