Re-opening
Al Jazeera Sports HD Re-Opened on the 14th of August 2009 at 9PM (GMT) to cover The Champions League and/or Europa League and other sporting events in High-Definition.
On the 28th of August 2012 Al Jazeera Sports HD returned back on Hot Bird 13.0°E Europe after having previously been exclusively broadcasted via Nilesat 7.0°W Middle East and North Africa.
