Other Achievements
He is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering, a Foreign Member of the Academy of Mining Sciences of Russia, and an Honorary Life Member of the Polish Association of Mining Engineers. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur and as Director of the Central Mine Planning and Design Institute of India. He is also Editor of the Journal of Mines, Metals and Fuels.
