Ajoy Ghose

Ajoy Ghose is an Indian mining engineer. He was twice awarded the Krupinski Medal (1984 and 2006) for his services to mining by the World Mining Congress, was Director of the Indian School of Mines University in Dhanbad, India, and is a past president of the Institution of Engineers (India) and the Mining, Geological and Metallurgical Institute of India. Between 1998 and 2000, he was President of the Federation of Engineering Institutions of South and Central Asia (FEISCA). He received the Professor Jai Krishna Memorial Award of the Indian National Academy of Engineering in 2004 for "research, education, international cooperation in mining and technology diffusion".
