Domestic Career

During the National Bank Cup, Wilson started for the Otago Rebels, while finishing her law degree, she signed with the Southern Sting in 2001 and remained with the franchise until 2007, winning five titles . In 2008, when Netball NZ announced a new Trans Tasman competition including Australian franchises, Wilson pulled out of the new Southern franchise based in Invercargill, New Zealand because of pregnancy.

She returned to the game in 2009, and was later announced captain of the new look Southern Steel. Wilson later retired after the 2009 season, confirming she was once again pregnant.
