Death
Acharya Mahapragya died on 9 May 2010 at 2:52 pm in Sardarshahar, in Churu district, the place where he gained monkhood. Subsequently, Acharya Maha Shraman was chosen the 11th acharya of Jain Terapanth, previously Acharya Mahapragya had made Acharya Shri Mahasharman the Yuvacharya of the Terapanth sect at Gangashahar (Bikaner) in 1997.
