2BR was launched on 25 July 2000.
The station broadcasts from the Pendle Forest transmitter on Pendle Hill in Newchurch-in-Pendle, near Fence, just 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to the north-west of the studio.
They play a wide variety of music in line with all radio stations owned by Local Radio Company.
The station provides news and sport updates throughout the day as well as traffic updates.
