Rescue and Relief Operations
Relatives of the dead and injured received money and medical help from the government:
- "Rs 3 lakh will be given as ex-gratia to next of the kin of every dead person, while those seriously injured will get Rs 50,000," Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit told reporters.
