21st Century Masters: The Millennium Collection: The Best Of Danny!

21st Century Masters – The Millennium Collection: The Best of Danny! is a 2007 compilation album by American rapper/producer Danny!, and the seventh self-released album on his vanity 1911 Music/Badenov Records label. The LP, released eleven days shy of his 24th birthday, features approximately five songs from each of his first four studio albums that preceded his tenure as an artist for Definitive Jux Records. A bonus track, "Fullaschidt (remix)", appears at the album's closing.

Despite its resemblance, the album is not affiliated in any way with 20th Century Masters: The Millennium Collection, a compilation series published and overseen by the Universal Music Group. It is rumored that Danny! -- a known fan of satire and a parodist himself (the most well-known example being the lampooning of the title of Kanye West's debut album, The College Dropout, for the name of his own solo debut) -- has since trademarked the title "21st Century Masters", though this has yet to be stated as fact.

A second installment was released via Okayplayer Records in September 2012 in preparation for Danny!'s debut album with the label, Payback.

Famous quotes containing the words century and/or millennium:

    Love is sinister,
    is mean to us in separation;
    makes our thin bodies thinner.
    This fellow Death
    lacks mercy
    and is good at counting our days.
    And Master,
    you, too, are subject
    to the plague of jealousy
    so think:
    how could womenfolk,
    soft as sprouts,
    live like this?
    Amaru (c. seventh century A.D.)

    At the end of one millennium and nine centuries of Christianity, it remains an unshakable assumption of the law in all Christian countries and of the moral judgment of Christians everywhere that if a man and a woman, entering a room together, close the door behind them, the man will come out sadder and the woman wiser.
