  • This was the second straight race that Dale Earnhardt Jr. was replaced by John Andretti after Martin Truex Jr. at Loudon a one week ago because he suffered a second and third degrees burns on his neck, chin, and legs from a burning car during the practice for the American Le Mans Series Grand Prix of Sonoma at Infineon Raceway and prevented him from finishing the race at Loudon and Pocono.
