1997 Masters Tournament

The 1997 Masters Tournament was the 61st Masters Tournament held from April 10–13 at Augusta National Golf Club. Tiger Woods won his first major championship and Masters Tournament by 12 strokes over Tom Kite. The margin of victory and four-day score of -18 (270) are tournament records. Woods also became the first non-white person, and the youngest player, to win at Augusta.
