The 1929 World Snooker Championship snooker tournament was held between 17 December 1928 and 7 March 1929 at various venues in England throughout the season, with the final beginning on 4 March 1929.

Joe Davis won his third World title, by defeating Tom Dennis 19–14 in the final. The highest break of the tournament was 61 made by Davis.
