Overview
Since Sept 11, 2001, the 157th Air Refueling Wing has been operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week in support of the Global War on Terror.
The 157th Air Refueling Wing was recently selected as an Active Associate Wing, which will bring approximately 150 active duty members to its base.
- Federal government: Staff, equip and train combat flying and combat support units to augment the Air Force.
- State government: Provide units trained and equipped to protect life and property and to preserve peace, order and public safety.
- Community: To participate in local, state, and national programs that add value to the community.
