"You Remind Me" is the debut single by American hip hop music and R&B singer Mary J. Blige. Released in June 1991, it was originally featured on the 1991 soundtrack, Strictly Business, and later was the first single from her debut album, What's the 411?. The song was written by Eric Milteer and was produced by Dave "Jam" Hall. The song reached number twenty-nine on the Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the R&B singles chart. The music video was released in 1992.
