Xtra Mile 1st Birthday Party CD
This promotional CD (XMR667) was given away free at the Xtra Mile 1st Birthday Party gig, as part of a goody bag also containing badges, party hats and birthday cake. The gig was held at the 250-capacity Luminaire venue on Kilburn Road in London on April 7 2005, and featured an acoustic performance from Frank Turner, followed by full performances from Million Dead and Reuben; Xtra Mile's only signed bands at the time. The gig was used for the bands to demo some of the new material from their then-forthcoming albums; Harmony No Harmony and Very Fast Very Dangerous, respectively. In the same spirit, the CD contained exclusive showcases of songs from these albums, with Reuben's lead single from the album, Blamethrower; and Million Dead's Father my Father. As such, the CD is very rare, as only 250-odd copies were made for the guests of the gig, and thus is not well known of but highly collectible.

As you find a rhythm
Working you, slow mile by mile,
Into your proper haunt
Somewhere, well out, beyond . . .”

“Neither party expected for the war, the magnitude, or the duration, which it has already attained. Neither anticipated that the cause of the conflict might cease with, or even before, the conflict itself should cease.”
