X-Men: Die By The Sword

X-Men: Die by the Sword is a five-issue comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics in 2007. It was written by Chris Claremont, drawn by Juan Santacruz, and inked by Raul Fernandez.

The story featured the teams New Excalibur and Exiles. It is notable that the storyline is published as its own mini-series, because historically a team-up of two teams is typically published as a crossover within the comic book series of the teams involved.

Famous quotes containing the words die and/or sword:

    Rich fellas come up and they die, and their kids ain’t no good, and they die out. But we keep a-comin’. We’re the people that live. They can’t wipe us out. They can’t lick us. And we’ll go on forever, Pa, ‘cause we’re the people.
    Nunnally Johnson (1897–1977)

    She sings of a sword so white,
    so luminous, that its own light
    alone must slay;
    she sings of a sword, a sword, a sword,
    and I creep away.
    Hilda Doolittle (1886–1961)
